Did you know that when it comes to marketing your network marketing business on social media, doesn't really matter where, but there's a wrong and right way to do this.
Social Media is not about spamming your friends and family or even spamming groups about your business opportunity.
It's like a totally different monster!
If you play your cards right you could have people reaching out to you without even mentioning your company at all.
Social Media Recruiting: 6 Mistakes Network Marketers Make Online
Ok so let's talk about what you SHOULD NOT be doing right now on IF you're trying to recruit or get customers online:
1. Brand Your Network Marketing Company And Not Yourself
Why not you ask? Simple! What if your company goes out of business or you decide to leave the company for whatever reason. Everything you did online is going to be tied to that company so it's gonna look weird to your contacts when you start promoting another company and they'll start saying “There they go again”
2. Sending Unsolicited Messages
Why? This one is not only super annoying when you receive them because not sure about you but I'm always wondering “Ummm, who are you? and why are you messaging me?” You don't want to be THAT person who markets their business this way. You look unprofessional and like you just started yesterday. There's definitely a better way.
3. Not Providing Valuable Information To Entice Recruits & Customers To You
This one to me should be #1 but had to be covered. Content is HUGE and guess what people are always searching for EXACTLY what your company's product or service is but are you out there telling people how you can help. Now we're not talking again spamming we're talking about sharing information about how you can help their problem.
Let's say you're in beauty – why not share tips on how to get a smokey eye look or how to keep from getting dark under eyes
Perhaps you're in wine – why not share tips on finding the right wine for your next party.
If you're in health & wellness – why not share work out tips like a 30 day challenge or morning shake mix recipe.
Maybe you're in travel – why not share the hottest places to visit this summer plus save money.
There's soooo many ways you could share information with people who are out there that want to know more the ideas are endless.
