Ever heard this mlm objection: “But I'm not a salesperson?”
Whether you've just joined your network marketing company or you're a seasoned leader at some point I'm sure you've heard this one.
Now this one would totally throw me off and honestly I did not know how to respond because I would be so excited about my business couldn't really relate to any objections to it.
So honestly what do you say to this one?
When you think about it, you kind of have to unteach people what they think of sales people. Now we're not talking about being a commissions machine where all you do is walk, talk, and speak is about your company.
That's what their thinking you have to do!
What To Say To The “I'm Not A Salesperson” MLM Objection
The beauty of this mlm objection is that the response is simple.
Keep in mind you don't want to sound so stiffy stuffy like you're such a professional guru because if they're one of your friends or even a stranger they're going to think this is how they have to respond to others.
So here's what we learned to say to the “I'm not a salesperson”
“Cool, I'm not a salesperson either. We're looking for people who are eager to learn from steps that are already working. So if you're open to learning what works then we can work together and we'll show you step by step exactly how to do this business.”
“Awesome, We're not looking for salesy type of people anyway so you'd be perfect”
When you give this type of approach it's more relaxed and shows the prospects that you're ready to work alongside then to help them succeed and you're not there just for their commission.
