The money objection in network marketing, sound familiar?
If you're reading this right now, pretty sure you've probably come across some sort of money objection at some point IF you're actively prospecting.
When we first got started we honestly didn't know what to say and the “Money Objections” used to get us all the time and we'd sit there stuck with not know what to say.
The way you respond to “no money” or “don't have enough money right now” will determine whether or not they ever sign up with you at all.
We're on week 4 and it's been such an eye opener WHOA I think this week was my favorite.
We'd totally appreciate your vote in this week's video contest – VOTE HERE! Thanks in advance.
So going back what do you do?
Now over the years we've pretty much heard about every and any objection known to man but today I'm gonna focus on the MONEY one.
How To Handle The Money Objection in Network Marketing
We put together 4 ways to respond to folks who either say they have no money or not enough:
1. Don't Lie – Don't sugar coat it just to get them signed up in your business, BE HONEST! Don't let them think it's like a get rich quick type of business because in most cases, a regular person who doesn't already have a following is not gonna hit the highest ranks after a month.
2. Give Options – Share the different package options they could join as, maybe they only saw your company's premium package offer and didn't know there was a lesser costing one which they could get just to get their foot in the door. Let's say they're a couple hundred short from your premium package you could say something like “Well there is a basic package you'd be able to start off with today then upgrade at a later time?”
3. Start BIG – Kind of opposite of the previous tip but we never share lesser packages assuming it can't be afforded by the prospect. When someone starts a business you want them fully equip to get going and not half-in. Say something like “Ok, so how far off are you?” They could be a few dollars off which is why you want to start HIGH rather than low.
4. Be Straight Up – One of the things we kind of get annoyed is when someone goes around the bush never telling us how much it is, so don't be afraid simply say “The investment to get your business started is ___” Of course this would be after they've either watched a company video or we've gotten them on a 3-way call.
Think those 4 tips give you a pretty good start on how to respond better than where I was when I first got started as a single mom.
We actually covered some Social Media tips in one of our weekly live trainings where we covered 9 Authoritative Ways To Sign Up More People Into Your Business on our Facebook Page, if you'd like to watch that full training click here.
